Crockpot Recipe

Teriyaki Pot Roast

This recipe is from our family cook book and was given by my aunt Judi.

  • One 3 to 4 lb chuck roast (I use venison)
  • Cooking oil
  • 1/2 t ground ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 T soy sauce
  • 2 onions, peeled and sliced
  • 1/4 cup hot water

Brown roast in oil in heavy skillet. Put browned roast in crockpot. Add the rest of the ingredients. Cover and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
